The roleAs an Advisor in the Policy Branch, you will be responsible for the design, health, accessibility and use of APRA's policy and supervisory frameworks.
This role requires big picture thinking, strong analytical skills, and the capacity to lead large projects.Success in this role will mean engaging with external stakeholders and collaborating with APRA policymakers, risk specialists, legal advisors and supervisors to ensure that expectations of regulated banks, insurers and superannuation funds are cohesive and fit-for-purpose.
These expectations (whether legal requirements or guidance) need to be easy to understand and apply - for APRA's supervisors, and the entities they supervise.The teamPolicy is a core function of APRA, responsible for developing new prudential standards and guidance on emerging risks; and refining existing policy and supervision frameworks, to ensure that they continue to be effective.Policy collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally (incl.
