Your new career
Reporting to the Director of People Advisory, the Advisor will work as part of a dynamic People and Performance team. You will oversee a range of generalist People Advisory functions across the group of business streams. This role involves working closely with leadership and management teams, as well as employees, to ensure alignment with Pitcher Partners' values in implementing policies, procedures, and practices. Additionally, the Advisor will offer advice, coaching, and guidance on employment-related issues, oversee day-to-day operational functions, and contribute to project work within People Advisory.
Your core duties will include:
Working with the leadership team to support with relevant insights on the team members and performance.
Coaching junior members of the people advisory team on HR and business matters.
Working with the team to create solutions in the first instance and escalate where appropriate.
Providing accurate and timely advice in relation to award interpretation and implementation.
Maintaining detailed, organised records and file notes on all matters.
Preparing, reviewing and finalising correspondence throughout the employee lifecycle.
Recommending any related process improvement opportunities.
Handling confidential information and adhering to privacy principles.
Assisting with immigration and secondment processes.
Providing support to the People Advisory team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Proven experience in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Sound understanding of employment law and the Fair Work Act.
Values of honesty, trust, client care, meritocracy, and business excellence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource (desirable).
