Overview:Full-time, Continuing positionSalary $99,618 - $107,831 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working ArrangementsBased at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of workingAbout YouThe Advisor, International plays a pivotal role in supporting the realisation of RMIT University's strategic aspiration to be a leading university of impact in the Asia Pacific region. Key to this will be supporting RMIT's internal community of practice 'KWAsia', which involves senior stakeholders and funding support across the institution.The role will work across the various teams of RMIT international to contribute to developing and implementing strategies, special projects and policy engagement opportunities. It will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders in Australia and Asia across government, industry and think tanks. It will also support RMIT's senior decision-making processes, helping shape strategic activities and directions.To be successful, you'll have:Experience working on strategic projects and managing expectations across a broad range of stakeholders.An ability to analyse information and form actionable insights to influence strategic decision making.Excellent communication skills, including an ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the University to deliver agreed outcomes and targets.A strong focus on attention to detail while ensuring operational needs meet strategic objectives.A demonstrated ability to work independently under broad direction and collaboratively contributing to a productive team environment, including in a cross-cultural context.Ability to work across multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.About the PortfolioThe International and Engagement group is led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor International & Engagement and Vice-President.
