The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) within the Department of Customer Service (DCS) is looking for an Advisor to join the Insurer Supervision Team (MAIR) Benefits Fantastic 6-month opportunity, with the possibility of extension.
Salary range: Grade 7/8, $110,266 - $122,058 + super (commensurate with experience).

About Us This is an exciting opportunity to work in the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), which regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW.
Sitting within the Insurer Supervision team, the primary purpose of this role is to drive supervision and performance management of regulated entities within the Motor Accident Insurance Regulation division.
The Insurer Supervision team ensures the compliance and performance of insurers in line with legislation and obligations.
We provide assurance to the NSW Public that effective services are being delivered by NSW CTP Insurers through positive customer experiences and outcomes.

What will you be doing: Monitoring and assessing insurer performance through data analysis and insurer reporting to inform decision making.
Providing advice that informs regulatory decision making.
Monitoring and reporting on insurer remediation activities to ensure compliance and achievement of scheme objectives.
Implementing effective regulatory strategies to build public trust in the Regulator.
