Join a diverse team of HR professionals at Glencore's McArthur River Mine (MRM) in a permanent full-time capacity. Servicing 700+ personnel, your role will be to deliver a wide range of HR advisor support to all levels of the business, allowing you to be a true HR Generalist. This role requires you to Fly in- Fly out (FIFO) from Darwin to our Mine site located 900km away; this is a site-based role on a 9-day fortnight (5/2, 4/3 roster).

Key deliverables of the role: Collaborate with site managers to implement workforce strategies aligned with operational goals. Provide timely and accurate HR data, insights, and reports to support informed decision-making. Offer expert advice on industrial relations, ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, enterprise agreements, and company policies. Manage complex HR cases, including investigations, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Drive employee engagement and retention through key HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee contract variations. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration across the business. To be successful in this role you will have: Tertiary qualifications (or minimum Diploma) in HR or a related discipline. Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role, preferably within mining, construction, or heavy industry. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively within a team. Strong expertise in generalist HR functions and practices. In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law, industrial relations, and enterprise agreements. Experience using HR metrics and analytics to guide business decisions. Proven ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to build professional relationships, influence, and negotiate effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in delivering training, drafting reports, and handling administrative tasks with precision.
