About the role: The Health & Safety team is currently seeking an Advisor Health & Safety to join them on a 8/6 days only roster based at Roy Hill Mine.
Reporting to the Superintendent Health & Safety, you will be responsible for creating value by enabling health and safety through creating foresight about the changing shape of risk and facilitating action before people are harmed and supporting line management to implement and improve safety processes and practices that meet organisational safety objectives.

Duties: Provide thought and evidence-based advice to Operations, Superintendents, Supervisors, and the workforce Identify opportunities and make recommendations to enable safe and effective operations Facilitate and lead significant incident investigations and produce high-quality actionable insights Provide data-driven safety performance reports and insights Facilitate the development and delivery of safety training Engage and coach front-line leaders and the workforce in physical and psychosocial risk reduction Skills and Experience: High level communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills Knowledge and understanding of fatality risk management and prevention and critical control framework Incident Investigation Training – either ICAM, TapRoot, Essential Factors, Blueline Lead Auditing Training Manual C Class License essential Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or Risk Management Mine Site Facilities: Modern, comfortable camp accommodation High quality food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options) Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for females Heated outdoor swimming pool Beach Volleyball court and Golf simulators Village shop and extensive supporting amenities SWIFT in-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capability Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family About the Company: Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
