Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an Advisor – ESG & Decarbonisation to join our Advisory Team.
The primary role is to deliver ESG and decarbonisation related services including emissions baselines, methods for emissions solution/s identification and selection, and implementation business strategies and ESG frameworks.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
• Technical delivery of discipline area projects and other Advisory engagements • Providing inputs for tenders, bids and opportunity-related pursuits• Provide support for strategic thinking to clients on emissions reduction option identification and selection, stakeholder consultation and industry best practice • Working with the team to shape service offerings and form relationships with potential clients.
• Sustainability / ESG strategy and roadmap support and implementation• Sustainability Reporting, including data capture & analysis, ESG rating provider methodologies and advise on improving transparency.• Collaboration with colleagues outside of Sustainability, Resilience & ESG to deliver multi-disciplinary and cross-geographical work.• Growing the business through development of client relationships, industry networking, opportunity identification
What would you bring to the team?
• Degree qualified in either engineering, science or commerce coupled with working within a management consulting business or in a relevant discipline within heavy industry• A successful track record of building credibility with clients and winning work reflected in the achievement of revenue and growth targets• An ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across a host of technical disciplines and industrial sectors - agility to think across sectors to bring value to clients is an ideal quality• Exceptional relationship management and written & verbal communication skills to work with a diverse client group with a variety of needs• Experience working in Sustainability and ESG preferably in the infrastructure sector (energy and resources, water, transport), and an understanding of sustainability reporting and disclosure frameworks.
