Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory requirements are adhered to, the environmental management system is maintained, and responsible environmental management is promoted throughout the operation.Other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Providing accurate and consistent environmental advice regarding environmental compliance, risk management, and continuous improvementMonitoring and reporting on environmental performance, including participation in compliance programsEffectively liaising with internal and external stakeholdersManaging environmental compliance and operational projectsAssisting with the development of Environmental Authority amendments, closure planning, and other regulatory submissionsEnvironmental Management System updates and improvements8/6 roster FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville, DIDO + travel allowance from Mt Isa, or a local living allowance for those based residentially in CloncurryEligible for quarterly bonusAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a high standard of work. To be considered for this role, you must possess / be able to demonstrate:Degree in Environmental Science or related fieldMetalliferous mining experience will be highly regardedA good understanding of QLD environmental legislation and regulationsGreat communication skills – both written and verbalCurrent Class C manual driver's licenseAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
