We are looking for anAdvisor Communities and Social Performance (CSP)to coordinate and deliver community engagement and project execution enablement activities within the Closure CSP team at Rio Tinto Argyle.
This role will provide technical support to the team based at Argyle.
You will join an experienced and diverse team of CSP practitioners working in a unique stage of the asset lifecycle.

Reporting to the Argyle Senior Advisor, CSP and working collaboratively within the Argyle CSP team and local community, you will: Liaise with Traditional Owners and seek input/feedback on impeding or proposed works, including such things as confirming access tracks post-closure and engage with the local community, including organising information dissemination and gathering feedback.
Conduct audits of cultural heritage sites, plan maintenance, and carry out cultural heritage clearances, assessments, and fieldwork coordination.
Coordinate engagement and inductions for tailings and water storage facilities (TSF) works, rehabilitation, and cultural safety events, including supporting specialists with delivery.
Provide in-field leadership during community visits, fieldwork, and support for cultural heritage management plans, ensuring safety and coordination.
Support ground disturbance permit (GDP) inspections, compliance tracking, and activities related to the gifting program for village demolition.
Assist Senior Advisor with daily activities, planning, and stakeholder updates on community and cultural safety matters.
Plan and manage logistics for meetings, events, and site visits, ensuring efficient coordination internally and externally.
Oversee upkeep of vehicles and equipment, as well as filing, document control, and reporting for compliance and cultural safety matters.
What you'll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline desired Ability to constructively influence with the confidence to appropriately challenge viewpoints or decisions Strong stakeholder engagement experience Previous experience partnering with Traditional Owner, Indigenous and/or host communities Understanding of HSES processes and risk and identification and management procedures Previous experience in mining or resources and with a preference for on-ground experience in rural/remote communities Understanding of CSP technical domains including cultural heritage processes Cross cultural competency and awareness of East Kimberley Indigenous culture Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Argyle has produced more than 825 million carats of rough diamonds since it began production in 1983 and ceased production in November 2020.
