The Advisor Business Improvement supports the Business Improvement Team by providing training, coaching, and assistance in embedding business improvement initiatives.
This role is a development pathway toward becoming a Business Improvement Specialist, focusing on acquiring the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to deliver impactful improvements.
Additionally, the role addresses skill gaps in Power BI reporting and Power Apps while supporting key improvement activities.
Key Accountabilities Development and Deployment of Business Improvement Assist in deploying business improvement methods and tools in alignment with the team's strategy and objectives.
Contribute to best practices, such as daily and weekly lean performance meetings, to support the deployment and growth of the Safe Production System (SPS) .
Support the team applying the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach to improve business processes and outcomes.
Problem Solving and Process Improvement Assist in facilitating and coaching problem-solving activities at various levels of the organisation, including kaizen events and practical problem-solving sessions.
Collaborate with the team to support operational managers and superintendents in defining and prioritising improvement plans.
Project and Data Management Gather and manage data for business improvement projects, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Maintain and update business improvement records, ensuring actions are tracked and closed out.
Support project implementation by applying foundational facilitation, data analysis, and project coordination skills.
Training and Capability Development Deliver training in business improvement tools and methodologies using standardised materials.
Actively participate in coaching and training sessions to develop expertise in business improvement techniques, including SPS, Power BI, and Power Apps.
Relationship Building and Collaboration Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support improvement initiatives and foster collaboration.
Build foundational skills in influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders in an operational environment.
