As the Advisor, Assurance and Compliance you will play a critical role in AUSMASA's compliance and assurance functions.
Reporting to the Principal Advisor/Manager, Risk & Compliance, you will oversee compliance checks, conduct assurance reviews, and contribute to the development of robust frameworks that support AUSMASA's mission.

Note – this role is fulltime contract role until June 2026 and can be based in either Melbourne or Perth. We are also open to part time, 3 – 4 days a week.
What will you be doing?
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Compliance and Assurance Frameworks: Collaborate with internal teams to implement AUSMASA's frameworks, ensuring adherence to legislative, regulatory, and organisational policies. Data Analysis and Risk Monitoring: Monitor performance metrics, analyse trends, and identify areas for improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with teams to foster a culture of compliance and proactively address emerging risks. Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in creating policies, procedures, and training materials to enhance compliance awareness. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Must haves: 1 year or Graduate exposure to and knowledge of governance, assurance, and compliance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Bonus points: Relevant tertiary qualification. Previous experience working in a small, national team Who are we?
