THE ROLE:
The Procurement Business Partner role is an Adviser within the Procurement and Contracts Team, in the Global Corporate Operations Branch. The role is responsible for delivering a range of procurement and contract management activities and functions across Austrade. The Procurement and Contracts Team support Austrade teams within a business partnering framework.
The role is responsible for providing procurement and contract management advice, undertaking procurement reporting activities, assisting teams with their procurement and contracting needs, and building productive working relationships across Austrade.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Providing proactive procurement and contract management advice and support to a range of internal stakeholders via email, phone and face-to-face and virtual meetings.
Providing accurate and timely procurement policy advice and assistance to business areas.
Undertaking AusTender reporting (new procurements and variations) for both domestic and international procurements using Procure-2-Pay (P2P) and SAP.
Providing formal review and comments for relevant procurements (new and variations) in the P2P system.
Applying a continuous improvement approach to the procurement and contract management function at Austrade.
Assisting with AusTender sourcing of data relating to management reports, Senate Estimate briefs and other reporting.
Maintaining internal templates and databases.
Assisting with ad hoc project work to support process improvement measures and stakeholder management across the Branch.

SALARY: $86,485 - $105,979
