Support First Nations students to succeed  Dynamic, creative team with a commitment to driving results through collaboration with First Nations communities and organisations Attractive salary plus 17% superannuation The Role Continuing, Full Time (3 positions available) Level 6 - $86,574 to $93,642 pa (plus 17% superannuation) Albury-Wodonga, Goulburn, Port Macquarie (one position at each campus) Under the direction of the Manager, First Nations Student Services, you will be responsible for the collaborative development, and consistent implementation and evaluation, of a range of advisory and advocacy services through First Nations Student Connect. This role provides services with an inclusive and holistic approach, to support transition to University, access to support, and positive student experience for First Nations students. To be successful you will have: Aboriginality including lived experience and understanding of the issues affecting people in contemporary Australian society – your employer considers Aboriginality a genuine occupational qualification for the role in accordance with the Anti-Discrimination Act (s.14(d)). Indigenous Australian cultures and societies appropriate to the position; including lived experience and understanding of the issues affecting people in contemporary Australian society and the diversity of circumstances of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.  Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills to considerately and effectively work with relevant stakeholders on matters relevant to the delivery of quality higher education to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.  Demonstrated excellence in the use of inclusive approaches to the provision of services, based upon a thorough understanding of the needs of First Nations people, relevant to the service delivery context.  Capacity to effectively and efficiently deliver and support initiatives and case load across multiple sites and mediums and to work with minimal supervision.  Demonstrated excellence in customer services and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills. Sound knowledge of technology and experience in the use of online, and flexible solutions in the delivery of services. Satisfactory National Police and Working with Children Checks.
