Great opportunity for an experienced Remediation Calculations Leader to lead the Advice Remediation Calculations Team and be responsible for the production of remediation detriment calculations in accordance with both the relevant regulatory guides as well as the Insignia Remediation policies and methodologies. You will lead a team of up to 2 direct reports and will report to the Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the production of all remediation calculationsRepresent the Calculations function within the Advice Remediation Leadership teamCapable of explaining complex calculations to clients in a way they would understandMaintain and develop the Calculations Methodology and Implementation GuidesMaintain and enhance the various calculation tools/modelsEnsure quality (completeness and accuracy) of source data used to perform remediation calculationsLead the Advice Calculations Team To be successful in this role you will possess: Solid experience leading Advice Calculations TeamsSound understanding in the provision of financial advice and advice strategiesSound knowledge with major investment products, stocks, bonds, managed funds, corporate actions, defined benefit fundsAbility to apply methodologies to individual client circumstances and to develop client beneficial assumptions appropriate to a case if requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills and can represent the calculations methodology and specific calculations to executive stakeholders, the regulator and clientsAbility to work in a fast paced environment and to deadlinesAdvanced modelling and numerical ability in excel, SQL, VBA, Python highly desiredRG146 qualified with at least a DFPTertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area Benefits Development opportunities at an ASX top 200 companyA professional, supportive and friendly cultureA range of corporate and lifestyle benefits The Business
