Imagine being part of a team where your contributions truly matter, where your spirit shines and where you can grow both personally and professionally. Reporting to the Advice Compliance Manager, you will be a key player in our journey by:
Contributing to the development and implementation of a compliance monitoring and reporting regime for general and personal advice in line with CareSuper's risk and compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.Assisting in conducting pre-vet and line 1 file reviews of advice files to ensure compliance obligations are met and assist with follow up activities.Conducting general advice monitoring and supervision requirements under Advice policies and procedures.Analysing financial advice and identify potential risks or areas of non-compliance.Preparing reporting requirements for relevant stakeholders.Providing back up support to Xplan Specialist when required to assist with end-to-end resolution of advice system issues, including reviewing, analysing, trouble shooting and problem solving.Providing clear and concise communication of legislative changes and compliance updates that impact advice modelling software and advice document templates to the advice network.Maintaining internal advice related registers and assist with further development of internal advice compliance management systems and tools.Assisting in the evaluation and management of advice compliance risks, controls, incidents, breaches and complaints for general and personal advice.Who Are We Looking For?
We're on the lookout for passionate individuals who embody our values. If you have the following, we want to hear from you:Demonstrated professional experience in a similar compliance role within the financial services industry.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Law, Compliance or relevant, or working towards attaining the Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning or equivalent.Proficiency in Financial Planning applications and software.Demonstrated knowledge of legislation, policies, industry regulations (e.g. ASIC guidelines, financial planning codes of conduct), procedures and practices relevant to regulatory policy development and contemporary advice compliance management.Proven ability to investigate issues, identify problems, develop and implement innovative solutions, systems and work practices.Demonstrated high ethical standards and integrity.An eagerness to learn and grow.
