The role
The role involves leading the development and implementation of state-wide allied health strategies within the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) Services.
This includes using advanced clinical expertise with MHAODS to shape workforce initiatives to enhance health outcomes.
The successful candidate will leverage their project management and leadership skills to build workforce capacity, support clinical education initiatives and promote digital innovation.
They will collaborate with key stakeholders to implement allied health initiatives and develop strategies that strengthen the capability across the MHAODS sector.

In this role, you will lead efforts to advance clinical education, research, and digital innovation to support the evolving needs of MHAOD services.
You will also engage a range of internal and external stakeholders, including professional associations, educational institutions, and industrial bodies.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for producing high-quality consultative documents and outcome reports, as well providing authoritative advice pertaining to allied health issues within MHAODS.

The successful person
To succeed in this role, you will need in-depth knowledge of allied health clinical service delivery within Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug Services (MHAODS).
Additionally, you should have proven experience in offering leadership and guidance for complex clinical workforce initiatives across Queensland's MHAODS allied health workforce.

You will also bring a strong track record in managing complex projects and initiatives to successful outcomes, along with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
