Your opportunity to join. As the Advanced Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for the sustainable water treatment operation at the Sorell processing facility, and will play an active role in ensuring strict standards of water quality are met at all times. The Operator will be required to work as part of a small team dedicated to water quality, plant reliability and process efficiency.

Great job security with an ASX-listed and stable company The health, safety, and well-being of our people is our highest priority Fast-paced and team-focused environment Daily Tasks: Work with the maintenance and production team to maximise the plants operation through reduction in wastewater Work in line with the regulatory requirements Monitor raw and treated water flows, adjust flows and pumping rates as needed Monitor issues as required to avoid quality/reliability issues Develop, monitor, and implement a process control plan for plant operation Perform maintenance and repair of water treatment plant equipment Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports of plant performance You will bring to this role: Experience of working in water and/or wastewater treatment plants that are controlled by PLC, SCADA and telemetry systems Developed skills in the maintenance and day to day operations of water and/or wastewater treatment practices Ability to provide analysis and reporting on water quality Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and influence across the business Experience with SBR, DAF and membrane treatment processes A Full driving license Certification 3 ideally in water or wastewater management Forklift licence would be advantageous We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
