Your opportunity to join. As the Advanced Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for the sustainable water treatment operation at the Sorell processing facility, and will play an active role in ensuring strict standards of water quality are met at all times.
The Operator will be required to work as part of a small team dedicated to water quality, plant reliability and process efficiency.

Benefits Immediate startOnsite ParkingGreat employee benefits including product discounts, travel discounts + more!Great job security with an ASX-listed and stable companyThe health, safety, and well-being of our people is our highest priorityFast-paced and team-focused environmentDaily Tasks: Work with the maintenance and production team to maximise the plants operation through reduction in wastewaterWork in line with the regulatory requirementsMonitor raw and treated water flows, adjust flows and pumping rates as neededMonitor issues as required to avoid quality/reliability issuesMonitor raw and treated water flows, adjusts flows and pumping rates as neededDevelop, monitor, and implement a process control plan for plant operationPerforms maintenance and repair of water treatment plant equipmentPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports of plant performanceYou will bring to this role: Experience of working in water and/or wastewater treatment plants that are controlled by PLC, SCADA and telemetry systemsDeveloped skills in the maintenance and day to day operations of water and/or wastewater treatment practicesAbility to provide analysis and reporting on water qualityStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and influence across the businessExperience with SBR, DAF and membrane treatment processesA Full driving licenseCertification 3 ideally in water or wastewater managementForklift licence would be advantageousWe're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
