About the role To oversee the provision of professional clinical physics support services in brachytherapy treatment planning and delivery, brachytherapy radiation dosimetry and radiation safety and protection.
To oversee clinical physics support for pulsed dose rate brachytherapy and therapeutic iodine-131 treatments.
To provide supervision of TEAP candidates and radiation safety training of other staff.
To participate in medical physics research and manage medical physics service development projects.
To be a Radiation Safety Officer for Cancer Care Services, Radiation Oncology.
