We are seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Protective Fencing in Somersby, NSW. This full-time role is integral to the continued success and growth of our manufacturing operations. As an Advanced Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and high-quality production of our specialised fencing products.
What you'll be doing Optimising manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce wasteImplementing lean manufacturing principles and practicesTroubleshooting equipment issues and performing preventative maintenanceEnsuring products meet strict quality standardsCollaborating with other departments to support the overall business objectivesWhat we're looking for Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar advanced manufacturing role, preferably within the fencing or metal fabrication industryStrong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipmentProficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilitiesProven track record of operational excellenceStrong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional stakeholdersRelevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing or a related fieldWhat we offer
