An exciting opportunity exists for an Advanced Clinical Assistant - Rehabilitation Rapid Response Team. As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, you will contribute to total patient management by providing advanced clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional. The SCHHS Rehabilitation Rapid Response Team is responsible for providing guidance, consultation and delivery of specialised input to facilitate early access to rehabilitation and discharge at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital as part of a multi-disciplinary team model.?
As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, you will contribute to total patient management by providing advanced clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional (AHP). The SCHHS Rehabilitation Response Team is responsible for providing guidance, consultation and delivery of specialised input to facilitate early access to rehabilitation and discharge at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) as part of an multi-disciplinary team (MDT) model.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
Contribute to the efficient operation of the Rehabilitation Rapid Response Team by undertaking other non-treatment activities as required.Provide a defined range of specialised clinical screening assessments and treatments for patients with complex needs, as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation.Identify potential changes needed in treatment programs using results from standardised assessment tools and gain endorsement to make these changes following discussion with the supervising Allied Health Professional.Remuneration value up to $90 110 p.a., comprising salary between $73 861 - $78 977 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4).
