Employment Opportunities The Village of Grafton is accepting applications for Adult League Supervisor.
Under direct supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, Adult League Supervisors provide instruction, monitor and educate participants on rules, and maintain a safe and positive atmosphere for participants.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises scheduled league play.
Prepare area of play with appropriate equipment.
Assists participants, answers questions, and maintains a positive experience.
Notify management of facility needs and any problems that may arise.
Ensure safety standards are met and department and facility policies are followed.
Notify Parks and Recreation department of weather cancellations, rescheduling, standings, forfeits, and accidents or incidents.
Provide first aid when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
SKILLS Knowledge of volleyball rules.
Ability to be professional and enforce rules.
Ability to cooperate and work well with staff members and the public.
PHYSICAL SKILLS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, kneel, reach and manipulate objects, talk and/or hear.
This position requires mobility.
This position requires the employee to be able to project their voice so that participants can hear instructions.
HOURS AND COMPENSATION This position can range from 2.5 - 10 hours per week.
Coed league is on Monday evenings and the Women's league is on Thursday evenings at the Kennedy Elementary School gym.
The starting hourly rate is $12.51.
