Job description:Our Adolescent, Young Adult and Family Counselling Programme is seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our team in a fixed term role until mid-2025.The role operates as part of the Paediatric Service team and provides counselling services to young people as well as supporting a range of community based youth services with group interventions and initiatives.
This position will work collaboratively with other clinicians and personnel operating within the adolescent and young adult space.The Adolescent and Young Adult counsellor will be well supported by clinicians working in the program and the Manager of Paediatric Services.
Formal supervision is also provided.
This counselling position is based at our co-location site Headspace Melton, but may work across other Western Health sites too (as required), to provide high quality evidence-based care to adolescents, young adults and families residing in the Brimbank Melton and Moorabool regions.
