Working hours: 0700-1430 Tuesday's and Thursday's
What you'll be doing The Admissions/Liaison Officer is responsible for all admissions duties on the Admissions desk and assists all other members of the team in their tasks of providing patient care.
The Admissions/Liaison Officer also plays an essential role in revenue duties and performs clerical functions using Patient Management Systems, Scheduling and PBRC and is required to liaise with a wide range of staff including doctors, nurses and management.
Minimum Requirements: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to work effectively in a busy team environment Experience working in a hospital environment or similar Excellent computer/word processing skills including the use of patient management systems Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail Sound knowledge of Medicare, Private Health Systems, Reciprocal Health Care Agreements and overseas patients Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines Proven ability to learn new tasks and systems quickly and efficiently SCHN is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity - we acknowledge the vibrancy that a diverse workforce brings to enhance both our workplace culture and our service delivery to children, young people and their families and carers.
