Launceston Airport is looking for an organised and proactive Administration & Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team.As an Administration & Marketing Assistant, you'll manage day-to-day office operations and support our marketing and communications team.
This exciting role allows you the opportunity to assist in coordinating events, managing internal communications, and contributing to our marketing efforts.
This is a part-time 3 day per week role.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Providing administrative support across various Launceston Airport departmentsManaging internal communications and assisting with content creation for newsletters and updatesProviding administrative assistance for marketing initiatives, such as preparing communications, coordinating events, and managing external displaysAssisting with the organisation and execution of internal and external events, ensuring smooth setup and operationCollaborating with the marketing and communications team to manage internal news updates, compile content for newsletters, and handle sponsor coordinationSupporting general office duties such as meeting room setup, catering, and office suppliesThe Successful Candidate Will HavePrevious experience in an administration role, ideally with exposure to marketing or event coordinationStrong organisational, communication, and time management skillsA proactive, flexible attitude with a passion for both customer service and creative tasksCertificate in Business Administration or similar is advantageousAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)We understand that not everyone will feel they meet all of these 100%.
