Top Office Group has been established in Ipswich for over 35 years and our reach extends to Brisbane CBD, Logan, Western Suburbs and Lockyer Valley.
We are a preferred supplier of staffing solutions to Queensland Government, Ipswich City Council and leading private sector businesses throughout South East Queensland.
We are seeking your strong all-round administration skills and exceptional communication skills to join our successful recruitment team in Ipswich, providing a range of recruitment support and administration functions, including: Posting job advertisements and maintaining an active social media presence (through posting jobs and updates) to support our talent sourcing strategies (including LinkedIn, Facebook and social media platforms).
Pre-screening and scheduling interviews with job applicants and conducting reference checks (and learning to conduct interviews in the future).
Collating applicant documentation requirements and compiling/sending employment documentation to new employees.
Working with our Senior Recruitment Consultant to check-in and support our white-collar temporary team, acting as a central point of contact for updates and advice.
Maintaining database, ensuring information and updates are keyed in accurately and in real time.
Providing general administration support to the team.
This full-time role requires a highly organised administrator with great people skills, a pro-active approach and ability to multi-task, together with the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
We are not necessarily looking for previous recruitment experience, however, this is an ideal opportunity if you are seeking to transition from administration into the recruitment/human resources sector.
Ideally, the successful candidate will also demonstrate a desire to fast-track into a Recruitment Consultant position with our company in the future.
As well as the above attributes, we are also seeking: Solid administration experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven office environment that required the ability to multi-task (minimum 3-5 years) Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and a strong client service focus Fast and accurate keyboarding skills (45wpm @ 98% accuracy+) Confidence learning and using a range of technology (including experience with maintaining and updating database software) Previous experience updating websites and creating engaging social media posts to support marketing activities preferred.
The ability to manage competing deadlines and share our passion for ensuring an optimum solution for our clients that delivers beyond expectations is also essential, together with availability to work full-time hours (38 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm).
