Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year, and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW. Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
This role is located in our main Site office in Dinawan and offers either FIFO or DIDO opportunities on a 2:1 roster. This role will work as part of the existing Procurement team reporting into the Procurement and Logistics Manager.

Your focus will include: Go to market activity, pricing and negotiation, and follow-up. Issue of confirmed purchase order agreements, post-award commercial management, and expediting of packaged equipment through to final delivery and closeout. Supports the team in achieving project cost and schedule targets. Manages the procurement & delivery process for assigned minor and intermediate-level equipment packages. Field buying of project tools and equipment. Interfaces with engineering leads for the timely issue of scopes of work and associated documents for assigned RFQ packages. Pre-qualifying suppliers where required. Preparation and approval of single source justifications where required. Preparation and approval of bid lists. Compiles and issues RFQs to bidders via approved project systems. What you will bring to the team: Over 3 years in a busy administration role, preferably in the finance or construction environment. Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills. Exceptional prioritisation skills, and the ability to deal with ambiguity. FIFO work experience highly desirable.
