Reporting to the Centre Manager, the position includes:
Job Description:
To help shape our purpose, we are seeking a team mate that will contribute and embrace a positive team environment, as well as having a great sense of humour while celebrating different personalities in the workplace.
As the counter assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, handling inquiries via phone and email, general administration duties, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they approach the counter and assist them with their inquiries or bookings.
Take customer bookings accurately and efficiently via phone and email.
Process transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and other light cleaning duties.
Monitor drinks and snack levels and notify management when stock is low or additional supplies are needed.
Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code, attendance, and punctuality requirements.
Required Hours:
Weekday shifts including Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Extra hours required in peak periods being School holidays.
Ideally Suit the following candidate:
Flexibility with weekday and weekend work
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Presentable, reliable and highly organised.
Dispute resolution skills.
Team Player.
Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
Positive and hard-working attitude.
Shows initiative and attention to detail.
Has good personal and life values.
Customer service skills.
