The Opportunity We are looking for a collaborative full time/part time team member to join our Regional North and Outback team based at Port Augusta.
Our Road Maintenance Directorate is responsible for overseeing all aspects of state-wide road maintenance activities across the Department's 23,000-kilometre road network and 4 Delivery Zones.
This involves the performance and compliance of network maintenance contractors and coordination of actions across the department to deliver required asset outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
The Administrative Support Officer is responsible for providing high quality, accurate and efficient administrative support service with a proactive approach to administration responsibilities to Regional North and Outback.
Key duties include: Providing a first point of contact for the Port Augusta regional office, managing reception functions telephone and face to face enquiries, courier bookings, and processing of accounts payable transactions through Basware. Correspondence and records management including logging and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, file creation, and archiving. Ensuring the accurate human resource administration of payroll documentation including employee timesheets, leave applications and employee establishment reports. Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

Tenure of Vacancy Temporary appointment up to 12 months.
Remuneration ASO2 - $58,709 to $63,154 per annum.
