Department of Health Hospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals NW North West Regional Hospital Applications must be submitted by Wednesday 23 October, 2024 11:55 PM Award/Classification: Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Band 3 $71,661 to $77,455 per annum Employment type: Full Time Region: North West Location: North West Regional Hospital We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team on the North West Coast.

The Role: The successful candidate will provide high-level effective and efficient administrative support to the Executive Director Medical Services and Senior Clinicians in Medical Services.
This will include the management of clinical/financial and administrative information and correspondence, the coordination and preparation of complex documents, including Ministerial correspondence and provision of secretariat support for meetings, as required.
Also included is administering the credentialing process for clinicians in the North West.
The role is based predominately at North West Regional Hospital, Burnie; however, there is an expectation to also work from the Mersey Community Hospital, Latrobe, when required.

Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Benefits available to eligible candidates: Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible.
