Details: Student Services is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in supporting prospective and current students on their educational journey.Position Overview: We are looking for a Client Service Coordinator to oversee daily operations within Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Student Services at any CIT location. This role involves managing client relations staff, maintaining and reporting on client services data, and supporting students to engage meaningfully with CIT. As a key member of Student Services, you will play an active role in providing guidance on course selection and addressing any challenges that may impact students' ability to study, ultimately enhancing their overall student experience. Your support will help create a positive and engaging environment, empowering students to achieve their academic and personal goals.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage client relations staff, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.Maintain, analyse, and report on client services data to drive continuous improvement.Support prospective, current, and former students in achieving successful learning outcomes through positive interactions with CIT.Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth, streamlined operations and share up-to-date information.Ensure CIT Student Services complies with the Client Service Charter and Standards, employing flexible problem-solving for student concerns and providing information on complex matters.We are looking for a motivated, client-focused professional with a passion for excellence in customer service, in alignment with CIT's Client Service Standard Charter. The ideal candidate will:Be able to guide students from enquiry to enrolment and completion, linking them with relevant support services.Have the ability to work independently, build positive working relationships across CIT, and effectively manage and motivate a team.Bring strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Be highly organised, with the capacity to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Possess knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and an understanding of the needs of students within this environment.Experience with student administration systems, admissions, enrolments, and accounts receivable is highly desirable.The ACT Public Service supports workforce diversity and is committed to an inclusive workplace. The occupant of this position will be required to work 73.5 hours per fortnight which may be on a rotating shift, including Saturdays depending on location.
