The Digital, Data and Technology Solutions (DDTS) Group within the ACT Government Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) is offering ICT students the chance to gain valuable real-world work experience through a three-month internship placement.
DDTS drives the ACT's digital agenda and leads the government's strategic direction for ICT, digital, data and artificial intelligence (AI).
As an intern, you will work on dedicated ICT projects for the duration of the placement, gaining practical skills, experience, knowledge, and contacts that will be transferable to future employment opportunities. This experience working with the ACT Government will make you stand out in the technology industry after you graduate and is a great first step towards building an ICT career in the ACT Public Service (ACTPS).

Eligibility/Other requirements: Must be a current student in your penultimate or final year of study in an ICT undergraduate or postgraduate qualification from a Canberra based tertiary institution. Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident and able to undergo background checks prior to commencement to obtain and maintain a Baseline (minimum) equivalent security clearance. Notes: These are temporary position available for a period of three months from February to May 2025, with the possibility of extension. Part-time hours will be available, and?the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata. Selection may be based on written application only.
