Role The Administrative Service Officer is based in the office and reception area and undertakes a variety of support roles under the direction of the Office Manager.
The position requires an enthusiastic person with excellent social and organisational skills, who can perform a range of office and reception functions independently.
The Administrative Service Officer, under the direction of the Office Manager, will be front of house and oversee the general office functions.
Responsibilities Attend to parents, students and visitors with enquiries Assist with School Council election organisation Telephone calls, mail and email Liaise with the school's cleaning company General office duties as required Assist with First Aid as required Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail Assist in maintaining databases and producing relevant reports Assist with the maintenance of office resource areas Undertake related additional duties as requested by Principal Class members Maintain the VIT and Working with Children Check/Volunteers registers Assist with student enrolments when required Coordinate functions - preparing the conference room or designated space for any upcoming meetings Greet visitors on behalf of the Principal Class and provide refreshments Assist in maintaining databases and producing relevant reports Assist with the maintenance and ordering of office resources and first aid supplies Organise Mother's/Father's/Special Person Day stalls Redeployment of classroom education support staff if required Publish school newsletter Who May Apply Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
