Administrative / Property Officer (VPSG2) Job posted: 23/04/2024 This position is responsible for performing a range of administrative and property officer duties at the Robinvale Police Station. The role will require the successful applicant to perform a wide range of administrative duties and data entry including the management of property. This position reports directly to the Robinvale Officer in Charge. The role will require the successful applicant to work in a team environment and provide administrative support to the Robinvale and surrounding Police Stations and may require travel from time to time. The role will require the applicant to liaise with internal and external customers.Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working the successful applicant your duties will include:Key duties of the position include: Perform a variety of computerised and manual administrative tasks.Performing data entry with a high-level of attention to detail across multiple Victoria Police databases and applications.Provide general administration support to the Robinvale Cluster.Being the initial point of contact for property queries.Auditing of exhibits.Manage archiving and destruction of records.Attend enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, provide initial information and advice as required.Receive, record and distribute mail and correspondence.Prepare routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to follow-up procedures as required.Assisting in maintaining good governance of systems, processes and compliance.Ordering of supplies as required. As the successful applicant, you will have:A high level of professionalism and integrity.Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.Ability to prioritise workload and work to timeframes.Proven record of ethical behaviour and ability to adhere to Organisational Values.High level of customer service and service delivery capability.Well-developed written and oral communication skills.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and information security.Strong adherence to safety including all OH&S requirements and procedures.High standard of presentation including being neatly attired.Sound record of work attendance and performance.Well-developed computer skills and familiar with common administration technology such as phones and tablets.Requirements and relevant informationThe usual place of work will be Robinvale Police Station.
