The Bass Coast Police Service Area (PSA) is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and hard-working individual to work in a dynamic policing environment as an Administration/Property Officer.
The position is based at Wonthaggi Police Station but requires the successful applicant to provide administrative support for five days per week at the Wonthaggi, Cowes, and San Remo Police Stations on a rotational basis.
The role involves the processing of briefs of evidence and correspondence, general office administration duties, and management of lost property and exhibits from receipt to disposal.
The successful applicant must be highly organised and self-motivated, display resilience, and be willing to work both in a team environment and autonomously as required.

Your duties will include:
Processing incoming and outgoing briefs of evidence and general correspondence
Issuing, updating, completing, and archiving records and accountable documents
Banking, filing, and general office duties
Sorting and disseminating mail from internal and external sources
Receipt, storage, disposal, and management of lost property and exhibits as required
Attending to phone and reception enquiries as required
Ordering stationery and consumables
Providing administrative support to police personnel as required
Attend to internal and external requests for documents and information in a timely manner
Developing and maintaining competency to use Victoria Police processes and systems and support station management and reporting requirements

Requirements and relevant information:
Position is located at the Wonthaggi Police Complex; however, you will also be required to provide support to Cowes and San Remo Police Complexes.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
