As the successful applicant you will be part of North West Metro Region which has over 3806 operational police, 360 Victorian Public Service employees which include 118 Police Custody Officers. NorthWest Metro Region is at the forefront of the delivery of policing services to a large, diverse and challenging segment of the Victorian Community.
Position title: Administrative/Property Officer Position number: 20024266 About the role: As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services to members at the Southbank Police Station, North-West Metro Region, Division 1.

Your duties will include: Provide general office support duties including the operation and maintenance of office equipment.Prepare routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to follow-up procedures.Assist with the processing of lost and confiscated property.Attend to telephone and counter enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.As the successful applicant, you will have: Experience in working with computers and various programs to perform a range of administrative tasks.Ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records whilst meeting strict deadlines with a high attention to detail.Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask.Ability to work successfully within a team environment and work independently.Display initiative and proactive work practices.Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients both orally and in writing.Requirements and relevant information: Position is located at the Southbank Police Station, 211 Bank Street, South Melbourne. While positions will have a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit or Visa.The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.Your application must include: ResumeApplication letter outlining skills as per Key Selection Criteria outlined in position description – Max 2 pages.Applications close midnight, Wednesday 28th November 2024.
