Rowville Police is looking for a highly motivated applicant to join our dynamic and supportive administration team. Rowville Uniform has in excess of 30 staff and seek a new team member to assist with Administration and Property Management duties.
The position's primary work location is Rowville Police Station. However, there may be a requirement to attend other stations within the local region to assist with administration tasks, training and development.
The successful applicant must be highly organised and self-motivated, display resilience, be willing to work both in a team environment and autonomously.
As a Victoria Police employee, you will have dedication and commitment to community safety. 
The successful applicant will report to the Senior Sergeant and VPS3 Team Leader and will also have some contact and interaction with external stakeholders.

Your duties will include: Undertake a range of functions around the receipt, management and disposal of property items in accordance with police policy and relevant legislationProcess incoming and outgoing briefs of evidence and general correspondencePerform data entry, filing, document destruction and archiving tasksAttend enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, provide initial information and advice where requiredReceive, record and distribute mail and correspondenceOrdering of stationery and consumablesProviding administration support to police and personnel as requiredAs the successful applicant, you will have: Excellent computer skills to perform a range of administrative tasks including, record management, data entry and word processing tasksMust have the ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative recordsAbility to work successfully within a team environment and ability to work independentlyExceptional organisation skills and ability to multitask and work under pressureWell-developed oral and written communication skillsIf required, flexibility to assist other team members by working from different police station locations within the Division/PSA.A commitment to upholding the Victoria Police Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics and Organisational ValuesRequirements and relevant information: Position located at Rowville Police Station, 30 Fulham Road, Rowville. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.Your application must include: ResumeCompleted application form – the word document (2.
