We are seeking a suitably experienced
Administrative Officer
to join our Surgical Service located at Perth Children's Hospital.The successful candidate will provide a high level, comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Head of Service and other officers and clinicians within the Surgical Directorate.Your key responsibilities will include:Provide a high level, confidential administrative support.Screen, receive and process incoming correspondence, inter hospital/site, public and private via phone and in person and direct queries to appropriate personnel.Receive/advise all visitors; patients; medical/academic/technical/admin staff.Liaise with internal Staff, Heads of Department and other health services.Maintain and arrange the continuity and processing of patient appointment schedules.Provide secretarial support for departmental meetings including preparation, distribution, transcribing and typing of agenda, minutes and supporting documentation.Eligibility:
