Our people are capable and professional, delivering responsive services; our greatest strength is the diversity, talent and dedication of our people and our commitment to supporting them.The Administrative Officer will deliver efficient and effective administrative and clerical support for the centre and supports the centre's day to day stores operations including prisoner contact.This position is required to work as part of an overall administration support team for the centre.In this role you will:Process and monitor the acquittal and receipt of storesReconcile deliveries and investigate anomaliesContribute to quality control, hygiene and security of stores and storage facilitiesProcess internal requisitions for stock itemsStocktake and warehouse processesAssist with unloading of trucksOperate and maintain the centre's offender canteenPerform sales to offender services as requiredCarry out all administrative duties as requestedManage own workflow by negotiating and confirming work priorities in consideration of the needs of other officersProvide support to other staff on administrative issues and assist with the preparation of memorandums, reports and correspondenceProvide administrative functions and confidential administrative support for the centre including faxing, photocopying, filing activities and taking minutes at various meetingsPerform the computer-based functions of word processing, data entry and using spreadsheetsUndertake archiving of files and records in accordance with legislative requirements.The essential requirements for this role can be found in the role description attached to this advertisement and are in line with the Queensland Government's Individual contributor from the Leadership competencies for Queensland.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
