Full-time appointment on a permanent/ongoing basis. Base salary range: $76,422 – $84,705 p.a. plus 17% superannuation. Led by strategic visionaries, the School spearheads the University's Indigenous Education Strategy, encompassing diverse areas of academic and cultural enrichment. From the operations of the Berndt Museum to the innovative initiatives of the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, we are dedicated to delivering multi-disciplinary teaching and research programs while providing specialised support and services to our Indigenous students. About the opportunity As the Administrative Officer (School of Indigenous Studies Liaison), you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of the School of Indigenous Studies and other initiatives across College Services. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will ensure high-quality service provision while adeptly responding to changing demands. Key responsibilities : Plan, coordinate, and provide a range of administrative functions relevant to College Services activities and initiatives, fostering a consistent approach and coordinated actions. Provide tailored administrative support to the School of Indigenous Studies, including advice and assistance in utilizing standard tools and processes common across the College of Schools. Act as a consistent point of contact for the School of Indigenous Studies, liaising with other areas of College Services to ensure seamless support and guidance. Collaborate with teams across College Services, offering administrative support and contributing to a culture of teamwork and productivity. Respond to complex enquiries with judgement and initiative, while providing in-depth advice on policies and procedures. Suggest and implement improvements to workflows and practices, promoting efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery. About you To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate: Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications. Experience in administrative roles at an appropriate level. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Highly developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in various computing skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, and email. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
