(Pro Rata) ASO2 | Part Time 22.5 hours per week - until Aug 2025Join our South Australian Voluntary Assisted Dying Care Navigator Service team as an Administrative Officer today! The South Australian Voluntary Assisted Dying Care Navigator Service (SAVAD-CNS) provides care coordination, education and support for people accessing voluntary assisted dying (VAD) as they live with a life limiting illness.
The SAVAD-CNS also assists medical practitioners, healthcare teams and private and public health services across South Australia to navigate the VAD process.
About the role: Reporting to the SAVAD-CNS Nursing Director, this role is accountable for delivering culturally appropriate, equitable, comprehensive, high quality, effective and confidential support to VAD focused administrative, reception and clerical services for patients/clients and staff of the SAVAD-CNS.
Duties for the role may include: Assisting health professionals to respond to patients/clients by providing up to date information, resources and referral options in a courteous and confidential manner,Ensuring that room bookings, resources and information related to the SAVAD-CNS are current,Treating all customers with respect and equality whilst being responsive to their needs,Attending and being actively involved in all mandatory and other relevant training sessions provided by the organisation within required timeframes.About you: Ability to utilise high level communication skills to effectively work with, and resolve issues and conflict with, people with diverse value systems, cultural differences and special needs, including patients/clients, multi-disciplinary health professionals, other organisations and providers, and the community,Demonstrated ability to prioritise, organise and manage work effectively, use initiative and problem solving skills,Experience in providing an administrative and frontline service in a community health setting,Experience in administering client records and information management systems.Want To Know More?
