The Director of Schools invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this permanent full time position of Administrative Officer - Learning K - 12, commencing October 2024.
This position exists to support the administration requirements of the Learning K – 12 team, predominantly at the Marian Centre, Wollongong. Applicants will be supportive of the ethos and mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Wollongong and understand the key purpose of this position as a focused customer service role, ultimately serving the needs of the students and staff in our Catholic schools.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Contributing to the implementation of the Vision and Strategic Direction of the CEDoW as stated in Lighting the WayWorking collaboratively with staff in the Learning K - 12 TeamSupporting effective and efficient office and school-based processesProviding ongoing service through clerical and administrative supportESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA Minimum two years experience in an office environmentExcellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data inputAbility to work independently and a collaborative, cooperative approach to working in a teamExceptional organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlinesDiscretion and a high level of confidentialityProficiency and experience in Google applications and MS Office suite of applications, including Word and ExcelExcellent written and oral communication skillsDESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA Knowledge of electronic filing systems and records managementBackground in an education or school settingWORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
