The Director of Schools invites expression of interest from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this temporary full time position of Administrative Office - Learning K - 12, commencing July 2024 and continuing until the end of Term 3 (27 September 2024).
This position exists to support the administration requirements of the Learning K – 12 team, predominantly at the Marian Centre, Wollongong. Applicants will be supportive of the ethos and mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Wollongong and understand the key purpose of this position as a focused customer service role, ultimately serving the needs of the students and staff in our Catholic schools.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for the following:
contributing to the implementation of the Vision and Strategic Direction of the CEDoW as stated in Lighting the Way working collaboratively with staff in the Learning K - 12 Team supporting effective and efficient office and school-based processes providing ongoing service through clerical and administrative support ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:
minimum two years experience in an office environment excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data input ability to work independently and a collaborative, cooperative approach to working in a team exceptional organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines discretion and a high level of confidentiality proficiency and experience in Google applications and MS Office suite of applications, including Word and Excel excellent written and oral communication skills DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
knowledge of electronic filing systems and records management background in an education or school setting WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
