Catherine McAuley Catholic College, Medowie is seeking a Permanent Part Time (18 hours per week Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays) Administrative Officer to join the team January 2025.
The School Administrative Officer provides administrative support to school staff and the school principal. This position is classified as a Level 4.

Desired Skills and ExperienceEXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the schoolExcellent written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated experience using initiative and self-motivation in the workplaceDemonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of administration tasksIntermediate experience and ability to work with various databases, Microsoft office programs and excelDemonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet various deadlinesAn understanding and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentialitySelf-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work with the capacity and willingness to work in a team environmentWillingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy. Category A – Accreditation to WorkExperience working in a Secondary High School (Desirable)Experience using Compass (Desirable)Experience in WH&S development, implementation, improvement recommendation and adherence to stake holder guidelines (Desirable)QUALIFICATIONS Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) numberCompletion of Anaphylaxis trainingCONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
