Administrative Officer (Elective Booking)Have you got the administrative skills that we are looking for, then look no further! Our Rockhampton team are looking for an Administrative Officer to backfill until 31 December 2024.

Rockhampton Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Queensland and the main referral hub for the region. A number of exciting initiatives are underway including the construction of a new multi-level car park. Once complete, it will provide 597 parking spaces for staff, patients, and visitors to the hospital. We will deliver expert care close to home by investing in a range of specialist services at Rockhampton Hospital for all Central Queenslanders.
About the role:To provide high quality efficient and effective administrative support within the Elective Surgery Booking Office Rockhampton Hospital. This includes first point contact for incoming calls, patient correspondence, medical record management, waitlist auditing and general patient follow up.
Provide an effective, efficient, and comprehensive administrative support service, ensuring that duties undertaken are completed within determined timeframes and in accordance with established procedures.Provide client focussed reception and telephone response services.Use of various data entry and computer based systems expertise in Microsoft Office programs.About you:Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Past administrative experience will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated clerical and administrative skills of a high standard including the ability to use Word processing and other computer-based systems.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, incorporating the ability to liaise and consult with all levels of staff, the public and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters appropriately.Ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $6,670 p.a. is comprised of:
