About your opportunity Multiple positions available As the initial primary contact for clients in Pharmacy use effective communication, interpersonal and time management skills evidenced by effectively prioritising workload. Receive prescriptions, medication charts and nutritional orders from patients and hospital staff confirming accuracy of all personal information and enter into the required tracking systems. Liaise with other government departments such as Medicare and Public Trustee as needed to obtain relevant entitlement information. What we are looking for?: Demonstrated ability in providing high quality administrative support with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proven ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to liaise with clients and staff at all levels using tact and confidentiality, and the ability to function as a member of a team. Proven ability in the utilisation of Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of hospital-based systems such as HBCIS, DSS, S4HANA and Outlook. Generous casual rates of $38.42 - $44.82 p.h. (AO2) + 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
Requirements This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis. While not mandatory, previous experience in pharmacy with an understanding of the pharmaceutical benefits scheme and Medicare would be well regarded. Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
