Exciting opportunity for an Administrative Officer to join the Department of Health!
The Role: This is a senior administrative position based with the Child and Youth Mental Health Services South team, which provides administrative support to the multidisciplinary team as well as consumers and families of the service.
You will need: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in contemporary office management practices, including knowledge of medical terminology or the ability to quickly acquire. Well-developed computer skills and organisational skills including ability to transcribe written and audio recorded information.Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, cooperating and working well with other team members in all CAMHS areas; respect the needs and ideas of others; provide support and assistance to team members, resolve conflicts, and appropriately share information with team members.Proven ability to provide leadership and training to other administrative staff, including mentoring staff with the ability to appropriately delegate responsibilities to ensure the development of administrative team members.Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to undertake duties in a professional manner with a high level of discretion, and with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction in often complex situations.Proficient in the ability to manage client enquiries, appointments, and dictation within CAMHS to support clinical service delivery.The Team: The Child and Youth Mental Health Services team provides tertiary level support and interventions to children and young people living with a mental illness in the southern Tasmanian community. We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary team who are committed to providing a high level, excellent service.
Details of appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$71,661 to $77,455 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
