How you will make an impactBased full time at the front of house on the reception desk in our amazing Sydney office, be the first point of contact for all customers and visitors. As an integral part of the administration and support team, the administration coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring all office operations run smoothly whilst also contributing to a high-functioning and collaborative team.
Day to day you will:Greet all external guests and visitorsMaintain the front of house to ensure it is kept tidy – this includes ensuring the front of house meeting rooms are clean and water jugs are filledAnswer, screen and forward general enquiries sent to our general mailboxMaintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)Act as the fire warden and point of contact for emergenciesReceive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveriesProvide tea and coffee for customer meetings as neededBook couriers/post mail as neededAssist with office management and the day to day running of the office – maintain stationery and kitchen supplies, keep inventory of stock, budget managementEnsure any repairs for the office are booked in with the building management in a timely mannerWork with IT, finance and other teams throughout the business as required for various tasks including assisting with new starters onboarding, ensuring invoices are paid on time and moreAssist with event management for internal events – weekly morning teas, end of year events and more – help us drive and foster a great office cultureSkills & QualificationsIdeally some work experience gained from working in professional services, cyber or technology firm is preferred, with hands-on experience on administration and coordinationHighly organised with strong attention to detail and deadlines, and ability to effectively manage multiple competing prioritiesThe ability to multi-task and be agile in how you workStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate information into creative solutions to benefit the businessSkilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient mannerProfessional and ethical, you inspire trust and confidence through integrity and respectInterested but don't meet every item listed above? Please note this role is an in-person role, where you are required to be in the office on a full-time basis 5 days a week.
