The College is seeking to employ a highly motivated, reliable and capable Administrative Assistant to join the Senior School Administration team.
Key Selection Criteriathe successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:
• Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based Christian Church
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and reception skills• Enjoy dealing with people daily, being tolerant and polite but assertive • Ability to communicate at all levels and work well under pressure• The ability to create a positive, friendly enduring impression• Competent levels of computer literacy and a good level of proficiency in the use of
Microsoft Office• Be proactive, punctual and reliable• Maintain a well-groomed and business-like appearance• Work collaboratively, establishing rapport and maintaining effective working
relationships with students, parents and staff of the College community• Excellent telephone skills and ability to handle all telephone enquiries in a friendly and

Qualifications• Experience in a school environment previously would be preferred

Primary Purpose:The Administrative Assistant of Senior School – Operations and Academic Support will work with all staff to lead the Strategic Plan related to improvement of the day-to-day operations of the Senior School.
Accountable to:The Principal through the Coordinator of Operations – Senior School, Academic Dean of Students.
Directly reports to:Director of Strategy and Innovation
Relates to:1. Deputy Principal/Head of Senior School Learning2. Director of Student Wellbeing – Senior School3. Academic Dean of Students4. Director of Teaching and Learning – Senior School5. Coordinator of Welfare – Senior Years6. Coordinator of Welfare – Middle Years7. Coordinator of Learning Innovation – Middle Years8. Teaching Staff9. Business Manager
Major Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant of Senior School – Operations and Academic Support is a member of the Senior School Administrative Team and is responsible to the Principal through the Director of Strategy and Innovation. They are also a member of the wider administration team for professional development purposes and providing assistance to the wider administration team when required. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Provision of administrative support to the Coordinator of Operations – Senior School on a dayto-day basis. This includes:
• Management of the Senior School student locker system, including the allocation of lockers and the purchase of new locks.

• Editing and distributing of Senior School permission notes and other notes/correspondence including the processing of Variation to Routine via Edumate including risk assessments, permission notes, etc.
• Roll marking for examinations and events.• Ensuring that the College's learning management system, Edumate, is up to date with
staff and student events.• Creating of new student packs, including diaries, timetables and lockers.• Assisting the Coordinator of Operations - Senior School with day-to-day operational
matters including by not restricted to: daily notices, room changes, staff covers, event management and rosters
• Liaise with casual staff on a day-to-day basis in regards to covers, room changes and events for the day.
• Examinations – Printing of exam timetables, study guides and examination papers.Secure storage of examinations papers before and after exams. Archiving ofexamination papers.
• Assist in the processing of Senior School Reports – editing and distribution when required.
• Provide clerical assistance such as photocopying, binding, laminating for Senior School staff when required.
• Assist the Coordinator of Operations with Senior School events as required including catering requirements and set up/clean up.
• Assisting with the dissemination of College diaries, timetables and start up booklets.
Provision of administrative support to the Academic Dean of Students on a day-to-day basis.This includes:
• Collation of student exemption absence data.• Assisting with student testing when required including student catch up examinations.• Assist with the processing of and administration of assessment non-completion and
plagiarism letters and requests
Assist in the provision of administrative support to the Senior School Administration team when required:
• Work as part of a team with other administrative assistants to answer student enquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Refer students to members of the Improvement and Innovation Team when necessary.
• Assist in the monitoring of daily student attendance including resolving attendance anomalies as part of a team. This may require emailing and/or speaking with staff and students to verify attendance anomalies.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Administrative Assistant Senior School Welfare/ Curriculum and the Administrative Assistant Senior School - Improvement and Innovation Team when required.

Other responsibilities include:• Provide administration support to the Front Office of the College when necessary.• Attend administration meetings as required.• Perform any duties as is required by the Principal or her nominees from time to time.
The Administrative Assistant Senior School – Operations and Academic Support is expected to be present at:
• all mandatory College events• all mandatory professional development activities
