Summary of the role: The Administrative Assistant Obs & Gynae is a pivotal role in supporting the Clinical Directors in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department at Mercy Hospital for Women to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.  We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant with a dedication to provide high level support managing the day-to-day administrative operations with a focus on excellence in customer service and continuous improvement of communication, documentation and processes.
Located at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department Fixed Term Full Time Type of employment - hours: 0700-1530 Monday to Friday Preparation of agendas and minutes including follow up of action items High quality administrative support and roster coordination, including assisting with medical staff replacement support. Resolve issues as they arise and respond to changes in the needs and expectations to achieve outcomes for the O&G Department. Administration of recruitment proceses and dissemination of information. ABOUT YOU: Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant within a hospital setting is desirable Demonstrated experience working with health professionals and working in a complex environment Attention to detail and able to stay focussed in fast-paced and changing environment High level of proficiency in MS Office and database systems, with aptitude to learning new software systems Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and direction Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills on all levels, including written and verbal Able to work autonomously ABOUT US: Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
